1. General provisions

These General Terms and Conditions govern the booking and use of hairdressing and barber services provided by GM BARBER SHOP, hairdressing sole proprietorship, owned by Goran Mudrinić, Rijeka, Zadarska 3B, hereinafter: the Barber Shop.

These Terms apply to clients who book appointments through the Barber Shop’s website, by telephone, e-mail or any other method made available by the Barber Shop.

By booking an appointment, the Client confirms that they have had the opportunity to read these Terms. These Terms do not limit consumers’ rights under the laws of the Republic of Croatia and the European Union.

2. Services and appointment booking

The Barber Shop provides the barber and hairdressing services listed in its current price list.

Appointments are booked through the Barber Shop’s website or other channels made available by the Barber Shop.

A booking may require a first and last name, telephone number, e-mail address and details of the selected service and appointment, to the extent necessary to organise and provide the service.

A booking is considered confirmed when the Client receives a booking confirmation through the website, by e-mail, SMS or another clearly specified channel.

The Client is responsible for the accuracy of the information provided when booking. If the information is inaccurate or the Barber Shop cannot contact the Client, the Barber Shop may request verification to organise the appointment.

3. Changing and cancelling appointments

The Client may cancel or request a change to an appointment through the website used to make the booking, by e-mail at gmudrinic.skare@gmail.com or by telephone on 0997770635.

Clients should notify the Barber Shop of cancellations or changes at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment.

The Barber Shop may change or cancel an appointment for justified organisational, technical or other unforeseen reasons. In such cases, the Barber Shop will notify the Client as soon as possible and offer an alternative appointment if one is available.

4. Late arrival and missed appointments

Clients are asked to arrive on time. If a Client is more than 15 minutes late, the Barber Shop may, depending on the time available and the type of service, shorten the service with the Client’s prior agreement. If the service cannot be provided in the remaining time, the Barber Shop may decline to provide it at that appointment and/or arrange a new appointment if upcoming appointments are available.

We also reserve the right to decline future bookings from clients who have failed to cancel an appointment in good time.

5. Prices and payment

Service prices are stated in euros and listed in the current price list available at the Barber Shop’s premises and on the website.

Payment is made at the Barber Shop’s premises after the service, in cash or by card, depending on the payment methods accepted by the Barber Shop.

The Barber Shop issues a receipt in accordance with applicable regulations.

The Barber Shop may change prices for future bookings. For an already confirmed booking, the previously communicated price applies unless the Client agrees to the change before the service is provided.

6. Complaints

If the Client considers that a service was not provided as agreed or has a complaint about the Barber Shop’s business, they may submit a written complaint:

  • in person at the Barber Shop’s premises (Zadarska 3B, Rijeka);
  • by post to: GM BARBER SHOP, obrt za frizerske usluge, vl. Goran Mudrinić, Rijeka, Zadarska 3B;
  • by e-mail to: gmudrinic.skare@gmail.com.

The Barber Shop will acknowledge receipt of a written complaint immediately, without delay, and respond in writing no later than 15 days after receipt.

The Barber Shop maintains and retains records of written complaints for the period required by law.

Clients are advised to report any dissatisfaction with a service as soon as possible so that the circumstances can be checked promptly.

7. Health, allergies and safety

Before a service begins, the Client should inform staff of any circumstances relevant to the safe provision of that particular service, such as a known allergy to a product intended for use or visible skin irritation.

8. The Client’s personal belongings

The Client is responsible for their personal belongings.

9. Personal data protection

The Barber Shop processes Clients’ personal data in accordance with applicable data protection regulations, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Detailed information about the types of data, purposes and legal bases of processing, retention periods, data recipients and Clients’ rights is available in the separate Privacy Policy.

10. Online bookings

When booking an appointment, the Client is informed of the content of the service being booked.

11. Limitation of liability

The Barber Shop is not liable for consequences arising exclusively from inaccurate or incomplete information provided by the Client before the service, provided that the information was relevant to the safety or quality of the service and the Barber Shop did not know, and could not reasonably have been expected to know, that it was inaccurate or incomplete.

The Barber Shop is not liable for results that objectively could not be achieved due to the natural characteristics of the hair or beard, previous treatments, the condition of the scalp or other relevant circumstances beyond its reasonable control, provided that the Client was given appropriate information about possible limitations of the result before the service.

The Client must follow reasonable aftercare instructions. The Barber Shop is not liable for deterioration of the result or damage arising exclusively from failure to follow such instructions, where a causal link between the Client’s conduct and the consequence has been established.

12. Final provisions

If any provision is found to be invalid or unenforceable, this does not in itself affect the validity of the other provisions, to the extent permitted by law.
